About the position

This role involves managing small to medium projects, analyzing data for business cases, and generating insightful reports. The individual will create process models, support project management, and ensure deliverables meet specifications. Responsibilities also include vendor management, on-call support, training, and building a knowledge base through documentation of issue resolutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage small to medium projects and ensure deliverables meet specifications.
  • Gather and analyze data for business cases and proposed projects.
  • Generate and compile reports based on analytical findings.
  • Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts based on user requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors, business users, and IT members to resolve problems and investigate opportunities.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of project stakeholders.
  • Develop and utilize standard templates to document business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Lead the definition, development, and documentation of business requirements on a project-by-project basis.
  • Participate in the design and development of test plans and cases.
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize outstanding issues and enhancement requests.
  • Assist in vendor relationship management and contractual terms.
  • Participate in on-call support rotation for functional applications.
  • Develop or review application training materials and conduct training sessions.
  • Document issues reported by users and the associated resolution process.
  • Perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems are resolved.

Requirements

  • Proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in project management for small to medium initiatives.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data to support business cases and system requirements.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Experience in creating process models and documentation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of HR, Payroll, Benefits, Performance, Compensation, Learning, and Recruiting technologies.
