About the position

The Personal Care Aide (PCA) position at CareGivers Home Care involves providing essential personal care services to clients in their homes. This role is designed for certified PCAs, HHAs, or CNAs, and offers flexible scheduling options to accommodate various availability. The PCA will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Help clients follow their medication schedules and maintain a tidy living environment.
  • Drive clients to appointments and run errands as needed.
  • Maintain a reliable and caring presence for clients.

Requirements

  • Must be a certified Personal Care Aide (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
  • At least 3 months of previous caregiving experience in the last three years is preferred.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must meet health requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in caregiving or nursing is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to client needs.
