About the position

The Daytime Caregiver position at Comfort Keepers involves providing essential one-on-one assistance to clients in their homes, focusing on personal care and companionship. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping others and offers flexible shift options ranging from 4 to 8 hours. The caregiver will also be responsible for transportation services, ensuring clients can access necessary appointments and activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect personal care to clients in their home.
• Provide transportation for clients as needed.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers.
• Perform duties as assigned on personal care service plan.
• Assist clients with all personal care functions as needed.
• Help keep the client's environment clean, safe, and organized.
• Remind clients to take self-administered medications.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a caregiver or home health aide required.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Submit to Criminal Background Investigation and Motor Vehicle Driving Record required.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle registration and insurance preferred.
• Open availability, including weekends, strongly preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.
