About the position

The Daytime Caregiver position at Comfort Keepers involves providing essential one-on-one assistance to clients in their homes, focusing on personal care and companionship. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping others and offers flexible shift options, including 4HR, 6HR, and 8HR shifts. The caregiver will also be responsible for transportation services, ensuring clients can access necessary appointments and activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect personal care to clients in their home.
• Provide transportation for clients as needed.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers.
• Perform duties as assigned on personal care service plan.
• Assist clients with all personal care functions as needed.
• Help keep the client's environment clean, safe, and organized.
• Remind clients to take self-administered medications.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a caregiver or home health aide required.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Submit to Criminal Background Investigation and Motor Vehicle Driving Record required.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle registration and insurance preferred.
• Open availability, including weekends, strongly preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.
