About the position
Griswold Home Care for Medina, Wayne & Western Stark Counties is seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to provide personalized care to individuals in their homes. This role is vital in helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life, with flexible daytime shifts available.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs
- Administer medication reminders
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations
- Assist with light housekeeping and household tasks
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands
Requirements
- Preferred 1+ years caregiving and mechanical lift experience, but willing to train
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
