About the position

The DBA Lead position is focused on overseeing database management and DevOps practices, specifically with a strong emphasis on modern database technologies such as Postgres, SQL, and MySQL. The role requires extensive hands-on experience in system design, application development, and operational stability, ensuring that databases are configured to meet application requirements while implementing continuous delivery systems and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and management of database systems including Postgres, SQL, and MySQL.
• Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Design and maintain automated deployment systems.
• Support the development and maintenance of CI/CD processes for application deployments.
• Recommend process improvements to ensure system scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure operational stability.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in system design and application development.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Postgres, SQL, and MySQL databases.
• Proven ability in automation, continuous delivery, and Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in Puppet tool.
• Excellent communication skills.
