About the position

The DBA/SQL Developer will be responsible for implementing, configuring, maintaining, and performing critical SQL Server RDBMS systems across multiple environments, including both on-premises and cloud-based customer systems. This role is essential for optimizing supply chain execution software solutions, ensuring database performance, availability, and security, while also providing exceptional support to developers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring performance, availability, and security.
• Configure and maintain database servers, processes, and system health.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in real-time, including performance tuning.
• Assist developers with query optimization and schema refinement.
• Automate recurring database tasks and support scheduled maintenance and deployments.

Requirements

• Solid command of SQL, SQL Server tools, and performance tuning.
• Advanced knowledge of database security, backups, and recovery.
• Experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) for SQL Server.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Unix shell scripting.
• 5 years of experience as an SQL Server DBA, including Windows Server and Active Directory management.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience.
