About the position
St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute (SLBMI) is seeking Licensed Professional Counselors and Licensed Clinical Social Workers with expertise in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This role offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, providing both onsite and telehealth services. Clinicians will have the flexibility to tailor their caseloads and will receive administrative support to enhance their practice. The position emphasizes collaboration, continuing education, and compassionate behavioral healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques.
- Participate in weekly DBT consultation groups and adhere to the Linehan protocol.
- Tailor caseloads to match personal expertise and interests, including working with adult and adolescent patients.
- Engage in case consultation and continuing education with a multidisciplinary team.
- Manage a steady flow of clients with the support of a centralized intake office and billing service.
- Participate in training seminars and opportunities for clinical presentations and research.
Requirements
- Master's or doctoral degree in a clinical mental health field (e.g., MSW, Professional Counselor, Ph.D).
- Fully licensed by the State of Missouri to practice independently.
- Credentialed-eligible for managed care panels in Missouri.
