About the position

The Asset Protection Manager at Home Depot is responsible for overseeing asset protection functions and safety-related activities to support the company's business objectives. This role focuses on minimizing shrink, managing risk, and ensuring safety compliance within the distribution center. The manager will lead a team, conduct investigations, and implement strategic plans to enhance profitability through effective asset protection measures.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes, plans, and performs asset protection activities related to shrink and safety awareness programs.
  • Implements strategic asset protection plans in partnership with building leadership.
  • Participates in decision-making processes regarding shrink, safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Initiates investigations and resolves safety and theft-related issues.
  • Attains performance metrics related to safety, shrink, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manages a team of Asset Protection Supervisors and Auditors through hands-on leadership.
  • Leads regulatory investigations such as OSHA and EPA compliance.
  • Maintains compliance with all Supply Chain security measures.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Asset Protection, Supply Chain, or Store Asset Protection.
  • High school diploma or GED required; no additional education preferred.
  • Experience with CCTV and digital recording devices.
  • Logistics and/or field investigations experience preferred.

  • Wicklander & Zulawski certified
  • LPC or LPQ Completion
  • Experience in leading teams
