About the position

The Asset Protection Manager is responsible for overseeing asset protection functions within a distribution center, focusing on minimizing shrink, ensuring safety, and maintaining compliance with OSHA standards. This role involves strategic planning, execution of asset protection activities, managing a team, and conducting investigations to support Home Depot's business objectives. The manager will work closely with leadership to improve profitability through effective asset protection strategies and performance metrics tracking.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, plans, and performs asset protection activities related to shrink and safety awareness programs.
• Implements strategic asset protection plans in partnership with building leadership.
• Participates in decision-making processes regarding shrink, safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Initiates investigations and resolves safety and theft-related issues.
• Attains performance metrics related to safety, shrink, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Manages a team of Asset Protection Supervisors and Auditors through hands-on leadership.
• Leads regulatory investigations such as OSHA and EPA compliance.

Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Experience in Asset Protection Supply Chain or Store Asset Protection.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and investigations.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of Asset Protection experience in Supply Chain or Distribution.
• 2 or 4-year college degree.
• Wicklander & Zulawski certification.
• Experience with CCTV and digital recording devices.
• Logistics and/or field investigations experience.
