About the position

The DC Inventory Control Specialist at Sagent LLC is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control within the distribution center. This role focuses on ensuring the security, accuracy, and quality of products through systematic audits, data entry, and process improvements, while collaborating with the Inventory Control Manager/Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily item audits as scheduled, requested, or required.
• Maintain cycle count schedules and results of counts under the management of the IC Manager/Supervisor.
• Conduct double-check reviews of all received stock for quality and process adherence.
• Perform stock put away and manage inventory bin consolidations.
• Audit equipment locations/sections as per schedules.
• Handle transactions related to repair processing.
• Meet SLA expectations for all email requests.
• Manage warehouse space, location assignments, and pallet standards.
• Perform all systematic transfers and transactions with high accuracy.
• Communicate errors, issues, resolutions, and process improvements intra and interdepartmentally.
• Enter data related to quality control errors, serial/part number renames, and program-specific needs.
• Play a significant role in error detection and process improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum two years previous Inventory Control or relative warehouse experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
• Excellent time-management skills.
