About the position

The Maintenance Tech II at Tractor Supply Company is responsible for performing periodic maintenance, corrective repairs, and limited troubleshooting on various facility-related equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety. This role ensures compliance with safety and maintenance standards while maintaining operational efficiency in a distribution or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on facility-related equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety.
• Conduct preventive maintenance (PM's) within manufacturer's guidelines and established timelines.
• Log time and materials, maintain work orders, PMs, and inventory tracking in a computerized maintenance management system.
• Interpret and understand plans, specifications, schematics, and operating manuals.
• Assist in performing battery maintenance and repairs for material handling equipment (MHE).
• Maintain spare parts inventory and prepare routine updates to maintenance records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with lock out/tag out (LOTO) and Arc Flash guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of distribution or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; Technical/Trade School certificate preferred in facility maintenance or related areas.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in HVAC, electrical, fire safety, and plumbing preferred.
