The shifts available for this position are from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM and from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. In this role, you will be responsible for driving a forklift safely and responsibly, moving products to and from specified locations, and delivering them to the delivery platform in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. The ideal candidate will be proactive, dynamic, flexible, and receptive to new ideas. You should be down-to-earth, pragmatic, and possess strong analytical skills with attention to detail. You will also need to work independently while adhering to regulations, managing stress, and remaining calm under pressure. Responsibilities
- Filling customer orders, checking and counting all products before loading into trucks.
- Ensure that all products are free of damage and infestation.
- Ensure the production code dates are properly recorded.
- Ensure that the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders correspond to customer specifications or other requirements.
- Safely and efficiently operate forklift or any other materials handling equipment as required.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 1 year of order selection and stand-up forklift experience required.
- Warehouse experience is necessary.
- Must be able to read and comprehend written instructions.
- Able to work in a cold environment.
- Must have basic math skills.
- RF Scanner knowledge is required.
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
