About The Position
The position involves overseeing the proper stocking of incoming products to ensure accurate and available inventory. The role includes resolving personnel and shipment issues within the department and performing tasks according to the proper method for the DC-WMS or paper. The supervisor will manage the distribution and stocking of all incoming merchandise, including common carrier freight, UPS, WTW, and new store returns, ensuring accuracy in completion. Additionally, the supervisor will be responsible for the safety of all DC team members, coordinating efforts with the safety supervisor on safety and security concerns, and ensuring that surplus merchandise is handled accurately. The role also includes overseeing the timely completion of new product line setups and changeovers, conducting team member evaluations, enforcing company policies, maintaining a clean and organized distribution center, and communicating with other supervisors to maintain workflow. The supervisor will work closely with HR to interview and hire prospective team members and coordinate with the operations manager to establish and achieve departmental goals.
