About the position

As a DCIM Process Engineer with the Wireless Semiconductor Division (WSD) of Broadcom Inc., you will play a critical role in the optimization and development of processes on thin film semiconductor equipment. This position requires a deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, as you will be responsible for establishing robust equipment and processes through rigorous characterization and statistical validation. Your work will be pivotal in ensuring that these processes are ready for high volume manufacturing, which is essential for the success of our dynamic product mix. In this role, you will collaborate closely with both production and R&D teams, addressing various challenges that arise in a high volume manufacturing environment. You will be tasked with optimizing processes to enhance safety, quality, yield, reliability, productivity, cycle time, and cost reduction. This will involve working with peers and quality teams to ensure that all processes meet the necessary standards and are continuously improved upon. You will also be responsible for the development of thin film deposition solutions that are stable, well characterized, and self-sustainable. This includes responding to process and product deviations, aiding in the investigation and resolution of potential issues, and ensuring that all processes are aligned with the company's goals for efficiency and effectiveness. Your contributions will directly impact the overall success of the manufacturing operations and the quality of the products produced.
