The role focuses on the safe removal of nails and foreign objects from materials, sorting them according to specific requirements, and preparing them for reuse. Responsibilities

• Efficiently process reclaimed materials by removing nails and foreign objects.
• Sort materials to meet specific requirements.
• Stack or bundle materials into safe working loads.
• Assist with receiving and unloading materials.
• Identify safety concerns and communicate them effectively to the team.
• Maintain an organized denailing tent and keep visuals for unitizing instructions up-to-date.
• Assist retail staff with stocking materials and customer orders.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm and commitment to learn deconstruction practices and safety standards.
• Ability to track ongoing required duties and prioritize daily tasks.
• Experience identifying safety concerns in a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Mechanically inclined with experience using power tools (preferred).
• Experience in construction or a related field (preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (strongly preferred).
• Experience in customer service or a related field (preferred).
