About the position

As a Deal Operations Analyst at Rapid7, you will play a crucial role in supporting the account teams by providing expert advice on deal structures and quoting processes. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as a trusted advisor, guiding sales representatives through complex requests and ensuring compliance with internal business policies and revenue recognition guidelines. You will monitor the deal support ticket queue, offering timely assistance on quoting inquiries and Proposal to Cash process questions. This role requires collaboration with various departments, including Proposals, Order Management, Finance, Legal, and other Operations teams, to facilitate deal closures effectively. In addition to providing general quoting assistance, you will be responsible for building complex quotes using tools such as NetSuite (ERP+CRM), Salesforce (CRM), and Zendesk (ticketing). Your work will ensure that customers receive an excellent procurement experience while adhering to pricing, quoting, and booking policies. You will execute quotes for limited-time sales promotions and complex deal structures, draft custom billing schedules, and collaborate with internal partners to resolve post-booking deal support issues. Furthermore, you will support new Go-To-Customer initiatives by performing User Acceptance Testing and delivering training for Proposal to Cash teams. Maintaining comprehensive Deal Operations process documentation will also be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while being flexible in problem-solving. You should be highly organized, customer-focused, and capable of meeting tight deadlines, especially during high-volume periods such as the End of Month and End of Quarter. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to accept feedback are essential for success in this role.
