About the position

The Dealer Account Manager role at Confie involves managing relationships with dealer partners in the Ventura, Oxnard, and Santa Monica regions. This position focuses on educating and training dealers on insurance products, enhancing their sales profits, and ensuring quality service delivery. The role is performance-based with a strong emphasis on consultative sales and account development, requiring significant local travel and effective communication with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Educate and train current dealer partners on insurance products and services.
  • Acquire new sources and contacts within the dealer community.
  • Manage and consult on all sales activities and account development for assigned dealers.
  • Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate company offerings to dealership management.
  • Identify sales prospects and follow up on leads and referrals from field activities.
  • Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with dealer partners in the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities.
  • Ensure proper usage of the Insure Express program by managing the dealer base.
  • Provide solutions and training in response to market developments.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in sales (required).
  • Automotive industry experience (preferred).
  • Previous outside sales experience (preferred).
  • College degree or equivalent work experience (preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Presentation skills from initial creation to delivery.
  • Knowledge of sales promotion techniques.
  • Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
  • Goal-oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement.
  • Ability to communicate and work amicably with diverse teams.
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Personal Lines insurance license (a plus but not required).
