About the position

The Dealer Account Manager at ExpressLink, Inc. is responsible for managing dealer partnerships in the regions of Ventura, Oxnard, and Santa Monica. This role focuses on assisting dealers in selling more vehicles by providing insurance solutions and increasing their sales profits through effective training and consultation. The position offers a performance-based compensation package and opportunities for advancement within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and consult on all sales activities and account development for assigned dealers.
• Educate and train current dealer partners on products and services.
• Acquire new dealer sources and contacts.
• Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate company offerings to dealership management.
• Identify sales prospects and follow up on leads and referrals from field activities.
• Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with dealer partners in the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities.
• Provide solutions and training in insurance verification and finance sales.
• Ensure quality and consistency of products and service delivery.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in sales (required).
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
• Previous outside sales experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of sales promotion techniques.
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
• Goal-oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement.
• Possession of a valid state driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

• College degree (preferred or equivalent work experience).
• Personal Lines insurance license is a plus but not required.
