About the position

The Dealer.com Performance Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external clients, ensuring their needs drive priorities and decisions. This role focuses on client advocacy, product utilization, revenue retention, and upselling opportunities. The Performance Manager operates remotely with limited supervision, managing a portfolio of clients and collaborating with other Performance Managers to provide a seamless experience. This position requires a proactive approach to client engagement and problem-solving to enhance client satisfaction and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with external clients to ensure their needs drive priorities and decisions.
  • Manage the progress and results of all accounts assigned within the portfolio to retain clients and protect revenue.
  • Engage with clients through virtual meetings and occasional onsite visits to increase product utilization and improve processes.
  • Identify and develop action plans for 'at risk' clients to retain relationships and meet business objectives.
  • Monitor account performance and trends to adjust dealer expectations and achieve results.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to clients to help them leverage product capabilities effectively.
  • Conduct analysis to build ROI in the software and improve existing processes and systems.
  • Assist or train new or less experienced performance managers through job shadowing and guidance.
  • Participate in special projects, workshops, and vendor events as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ years experience in a Dealer.com Performance Management capacity preferred.
  • 4+ years experience in a retail automotive dealership setting preferred.
  • 4+ years managing digital marketing strategies for a single rooftop or dealer group preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of technologies and screen share technologies.
