About the position

The Dealer.com Performance Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external clients, ensuring their needs drive priorities and decisions. This role focuses on client advocacy, product utilization, revenue retention, and upselling opportunities. The Performance Manager works remotely with limited supervision, managing a portfolio of clients and collaborating with other managers to provide a seamless experience across multiple products.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with external clients to ensure client needs drive priorities and decisions.
• Manage the progress and results of all accounts assigned within the portfolio to protect monthly revenue.
• Engage with clients through virtual meetings and occasional onsite visits to increase product utilization and improve processes.
• Identify and develop action plans for 'at risk' clients to retain relationships.
• Analyze account performance and trends to adjust dealer expectations and achieve results.
• Monitor system emergencies with clients and take immediate action as needed.
• Maintain product knowledge and training on new releases and enhancements.
• Assist new or lower-level Performance Managers through job shadowing and training.
• Conduct analysis to make recommendations that build ROI in the software.
• Complete internal tasks and trainings in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field.
• Alternative combinations of education and experience are acceptable, such as a master's degree with 2 years' experience or a Ph.D. with up to 1 year of experience.
• 8 years' experience in a related field may also be considered.

Nice-to-haves

• 1+ years experience in a Dealer.com Performance Management capacity.
• 4+ years experience in a retail automotive dealership setting.
• 4+ years managing digital marketing strategies for a single rooftop.
