About the position
The Dealer Development Contracts Paralegal will support the automotive manufacturer by managing dealer package submissions, ensuring compliance with agreements and state statutes, and maintaining documentation related to Sales and Service Agreements. This role involves acting as a liaison between various departments and generating reports to enhance communication and resolve system issues. The position is fully remote and offers a temporary opportunity with potential for longer-term employment.
Responsibilities
- Launch dealer packages and review submissions for completeness and compliance.
- Prepare documentation for new Sales and Service Agreements, including Provisions, Renewals, Amendments, and Terminations.
- Update and maintain the national master file database and manage inquiries related to buy/sells and terminations.
- Monitor dealer activities to ensure accuracy in intercompany databases and master dealer files.
- Act as a liaison with Region/National/Legal/Outside Counsel to support Market Representation assignments.
- Assist in establishing departmental policy and procedure protocols for evaluating proposals.
- Generate and publish reports, identify and resolve DND systems issues, and enhance communications on Market Representation databases.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in dealer development or as a paralegal with transactional experience.
- Experience handling NDAs, service agreements, contracts, and franchise paperwork.
