About the position

The Dealer Incentive Analyst position at Ally Financial provides operational support for incentives, reporting, and analytics for the U.S. Insurance F&I Sales team, executive leadership, and participating dealerships. The role focuses on incentive administration, payment controls, and developing performance analytics while collaborating with various partners to enhance dealer incentives and operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, contributing to the overall success of the sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Service the sales organization with dealer incentives to support corporate objectives
  • Develop and maintain data analytics to ensure robust incentive payment controls and assess trends and program performance
  • Complete incentive administration, scheduled deliverables, budgets, and forecasts
  • Participate in special projects, including building out ongoing and ad hoc incentive reporting using various analytical tools
  • Drive process improvements and strive to eliminate risks of error in manual processes through automation and analytical techniques
  • Provide technical and analytical support to team members

Requirements

  • 1 year of reporting and analytics experience required; 2+ years preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required; major in an analytical field such as business analytics, finance, accounting, or related field preferred
  • Proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerBI or similar tools required
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proven analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions from data
  • Proven experience with contributing to and leading projects
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge/experience in financial services and the automotive industry preferred
