About The Position

The Dealer Relationship Manager at Cinch Auto Finance is responsible for expanding the company's indirect auto finance portfolio by building and maintaining relationships with auto dealerships. This role involves promoting the benefits of the company's lending program, training dealership staff, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance business relationships. The position requires a strong background in sales and relationship management within the auto finance industry, particularly in Iowa.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years indirect auto sales experience in Iowa.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and work independently.
  • Detailed knowledge of auto dealership operations and indirect lending.
  • Strong marketing, sales and relationship management skills with the ability to sign a targeted amount of new relationships and drive in targeted amounts of new business.
  • Able to utilize necessary technology for role (PC/iPad/Smart phone).
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel overnight and must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business through daily visits to auto dealerships to train and promote the company's Indirect Lending Program.
  • Cold-call and communicate via telephone and mass communication such as email to introduce the company and identify prospective dealers within the target market.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of general economic conditions and trends that may affect the Indirect Lending Program.
  • Monitor competitor's rates and program changes.
  • Identify and communicate dealer's needs to ensure quality service is provided.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage contact information and record details of engagement.
  • Serve as liaison between dealership personnel and the Originations/Funding staff.
  • Identify, suggest and implement marketing opportunities and programs.
