About the position

Cactus Petes Resort Casino is offering a Dealer School starting on February 4th, 2025, where individuals can train to become gambling dealers. This position allows participants to earn while they learn, with paid training for 3 to 4 weeks. After graduation, dealers will work part-time and earn a base wage plus tips, providing an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete Dealer School training.
• Learn to deal various games such as Blackjack, Craps, and Roulette.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while dealing.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
• Handle cash and calculate payoffs accurately.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Dealer School or six months of experience as a dealer with at least two high-volume games required.
• Strong verbal communication skills; fluent and literate in English.
• Knowledge of applicable state gaming laws and regulations.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and a proactive approach to issues.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work any shift or hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
