About the position

The Dealer Services Senior Business Analytics & Reporting Analyst at M&T Bank is responsible for providing advanced support across multiple projects and programs. This role involves developing new reports and dashboards, enhancing existing metrics, and presenting data-driven recommendations for improvement. The analyst will represent the department in high-visibility projects and streamline ongoing activities to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce mid-high complexity departmental reports and spreadsheets, including project or product strategy analysis, historical reporting, workflow analysis, and financial analysis.
• Identify trends and emerging issues, engaging stakeholders to develop project plans and communicate findings through various formats.
• Perform complex analysis to support business decisions, analyzing large data sets to provide meaningful insights to management.
• Drive continuous improvement of existing processes and develop new processes, including maintenance plans and procedural documentation.
• Participate in planning and implementation of new projects and programs to achieve business objectives.
• Support departmental audits, including user recertifications and compliance testing.
• Manage planning, testing, and implementation of new projects, systems, products, and regulatory changes.
• Act as lead for departmental system support, coordinating with business partners and vendors to address issues.
• Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with company standards and policies.
• Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years related business line experience, or a combined minimum of 7 years higher education and/or work experience.
