About the position

The Fixed Operations Manager at Krause Hyundai of Gainesville is responsible for overseeing the service and parts departments in a new facility currently under construction. This role requires strong leadership and managerial skills to ensure operational efficiency and exceptional customer service as the dealership prepares to open. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in service management and will play a key role in building a successful team and department from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service and parts team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Recruit, organize, and motivate team members while holding them accountable for daily performance.
• Plan, train, and monitor the performance of service advisers, technicians, and parts counter staff.
• Establish service/parts objectives and develop monthly goals.
• Ensure technicians and counter staff maintain current skills through manufacturer training.
• Oversee accurate warranty procedures and ensure timely processing.
• Conduct service/parts meetings and manage operational efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with advisors, technicians, and customers to ensure prompt service.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and records for the service department.
• Handle customer complaints promptly to maintain a high CSI rating.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Service Manager with a proven track record.
• Strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
• Experience in leading and managing a team in a service environment.
