About the position

Camping World is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our growing team. The Accounting Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting the dealership with various accounting-related tasks. This position requires a diligent and organized individual who is extremely detail-oriented. The primary responsibilities include reviewing deal paperwork for thoroughness and accuracy before sending it to the Accounting hub for processing. The clerk will also verify key data between deal paperwork and the system, ensuring that all information is accurate and up to date. Communication with dealership personnel is essential to resolve any discrepancies that may arise during this process. In addition to paperwork review, the Accounting Clerk will sort daily mail and obtain General Manager approval on invoices prior to sending them to the Accounting hub for processing. Acting as a liaison between the dealership and the Accounting hub, the clerk will ensure that payroll and timekeeping information is accurate before payroll processing. The role also involves scanning daily check deposits and making occasional trips to the bank for cash deposits. It is vital that all payment information is accurately recorded by department personnel to maintain financial integrity. The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. Intermediate computer knowledge, particularly with MS Office including Excel, is required, along with accuracy in using a 10-key pad and typing skills. The candidate should be self-motivated, capable of prioritizing tasks, and organizing their schedule efficiently. While knowledge of auto dealership accounting systems such as IDS, ADP, or Reynolds & Reynolds would be helpful, it is not a strict requirement. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and demands is essential. Additionally, the role may require the ability to hold up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.

Responsibilities

Requirements
