About The Position

The Debone Technician position is a full-time role focused on performing various tasks within the Debone production line. The technician will rotate through different positions, ensuring efficient production processes while adhering to quality and safety standards. This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and the implementation of best practices in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a cold environment down to 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to stand and move about for 8-10 hours a day.
• Capability to perform physical duties including reaching, lifting, bending, and twisting.
• Ability to use vision and hearing effectively in a production environment.

Nice To Haves

• Preference for experience in poultry or food processing organizations.

Responsibilities

• Perform all positions on the Debone line as needed.
• Rotate positions including cutting breasts, wings, pulling skin, using a saw, loading product, and tray packing.
• Participate as a member of the team, contributing to team concepts, programs, and policies.
• Coordinate work with team members to ensure best practices are followed.
• Attend team meetings and foster strong cohesiveness regarding major issues.
• Identify areas lacking cohesiveness and work with the team leader to resolve issues.
• Maintain familiarity with Simmons' operating systems and communicate concerns or improvement ideas.
• Perform other duties as necessary to support business objectives.
