About the position

We are seeking a skilled Deburrer with Shipping experience to join our team. The Deburrer will be responsible for finishing metal parts to ensure they meet quality standards as well as handling in/outbound shipments. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The role involves performing deburring operations on metal parts using various tools and techniques, inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications, and removing defects to smooth uneven surfaces. Additionally, the Deburrer will schedule all inbound deliveries, ensuring that the purchase order number is on all paperwork, and will record and check the quantity and quality of goods received. The position also requires inspecting, accepting, or rejecting inbound shipments and communicating with the appropriate personnel for product returns or repairs. Furthermore, the Deburrer will assist in packing parts and shipments to customers, contributing to the overall efficiency of the shipping process. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, develop technical skills, and contribute to the production of high-quality metal parts. The ideal candidate will have experience with deburring, grinding, or finishing metal parts, knowledge of machining processes and mechanical principles, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments is essential, as is previous experience in a manufacturing setting. The candidate must be able to work under time-sensitive deadlines and perform manual lifting activities up to 50lbs. The role also requires maintaining a clean and safe work area while following all safety guidelines. A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Perform deburring operations on metal parts using various tools and techniques

  • Working knowledge in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, UPS/FEDEX and other similar computer software systems
  • Working knowledge of computerized inventory control system
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety guidelines
  • High School or equivalent required
