About the position

The Decentralized Systems Research Intern position at Nokia offers an opportunity for students enrolled in a Ph.D. or Master's program to engage in innovative research and development in decentralized systems. This 10-week internship, scheduled for June to August 2025, allows interns to work on cutting-edge projects in a collaborative environment, gaining hands-on experience in designing and implementing Web3 decentralized systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement state-of-the-art Web3 decentralized systems.
• Validate and evaluate your implementation in our cutting-edge labs.
• Interface, explore, and learn from the experts.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Ph.D. (preferred) or Master's Program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of distributed systems concepts and design and networking protocols.
• Hands-on experience with blockchains, smart contracts, or cryptography is an asset.
• A basic understanding of telecommunication networks is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
