About the position

As we embark on a new offshore brownfield asset retirement campaign based out of Covington, LA, we are seeking a talented and experienced Decommissioning Project Manager to join our team. The Decommissioning PM Lead will head our offshore brownfield asset retirement campaign based in or near Covington, LA. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the project, from planning and execution to monitoring and control, ensuring that project objectives are achieved safely, on time, and within budget. In addition to the oversight of engineering deliverables (construction work packs, engineering studies, regulatory & environmental reviews, asset management plans), a key success factor for the selected candidate will be the ability to efficiently manage the flow of work to remote (workshare) offices.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the offshore brownfield asset retirement project.
  • Ensure project objectives are achieved safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Manage engineering deliverables including construction work packs and engineering studies.
  • Conduct regulatory and environmental reviews as part of the project oversight.
  • Develop and implement asset management plans.
  • Efficiently manage the flow of work to remote (workshare) offices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of offshore decommissioning processes and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
