About the position

The Decorator position at El Dorado Furniture involves enhancing the aesthetic appeal of showrooms and assisting customers with furniture selection and layout. This role requires creativity, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure while providing excellent customer service. The Decorator will be responsible for maintaining showroom standards, assisting in events, and supporting additional locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily tune-up of showrooms and common areas.
• In charge of decorating designated showrooms.
• Assist customers with furniture floor plans and accessories selection, both in-store and at the customer's home.
• Report any merchandise movement in the assigned showroom in writing on a daily basis.
• Assist in events or activities inside or outside of the store.
• Provide support decorating additional showrooms in different store locations when needed.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in Interior Design or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong computer literacy and skills.
