Responsibilities

• Operate Class A vehicles with a focus on day cabs and dropped 3rd axle configurations.
• Transport goods locally and regionally, adhering to safety and efficiency standards.
• Manage and maintain the vehicle, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.
• Utilize company-owned chassis and participate in the driver fuel surcharge program.
• Handle accessorial pay situations such as layovers, chassis splits, and yard pulls.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum of 15 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience within the last three years, or 24 months within the last four years.
• TWIC card is preferred for port city locations.

Nice-to-haves

• HAZMAT/TANKER endorsements are a plus.
