About the position

The Deep Water Lifeguard position at Elite Amenity Management is a part-time role focused on ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and guests at swimming pools and recreational areas. The lifeguard will oversee pool activities, enforce safety protocols, and provide immediate assistance during emergencies, all while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the swimming pool and recreational activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Provide high-quality lifeguarding services to ensure safety and well-being of residents and guests.
• Act swiftly and appropriately during emergencies, providing immediate assistance to swimmers.
• Demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills by greeting and assisting guests.
• Maintain reliability and organizational skills, working independently and as part of a team.
• Execute tasks outlined in the Lifeguard Checklist, including cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate chemical levels in the pool, conducting hourly checks and logging readings.
• Adhere to the designated uniform policy and maintain a clean workstation.
• Ensure proper disposal of garbage and wipe down surfaces at the end of each shift.

Requirements

• Deep Water Lifeguard Certification.
• At least 1 year of prior lifeguarding experience.
• Valid certifications in CPR, First Aid, and AED.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong observational skills to monitor pool areas effectively.
• Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities during emergencies.
• Proficiency in swimming safety protocols.
