About the position

The Defense Counterterrorism Knowledge Manager at Core One plays a crucial role in enhancing national security operations by aligning processes and technology for effective information sharing among analysts and organizations. This position focuses on the production and dissemination of intelligence products, particularly concerning transnational terrorism, while also supporting various defense and intelligence assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production.
  • Utilize centralized and peripheral databases, content management, and records management systems to shape workflow and processes.
  • Compile reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities.
  • Disseminate intelligence products across separate networks and portals.
  • Deliver expertise regarding intelligence production in support of DIA and Joint Staff planning, focusing on transnational terrorism.
  • Review DIA regional terrorism functional support plans to identify tasking, requirements, and gaps.
  • Utilize military matrix planning techniques and resource analytics to provide outcome measurements and evaluation.
  • Comprehend logistics management support and staffing procedures for expedient communication with various organizations.
  • Support the coordination and consolidation of divisional inputs for quarterly assessments.
  • Conduct systems and resource analysis and lead teams in researching critical problems.
  • Provide guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a related field or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience for mid-level or 12 years for senior-level positions, with recent experience in the last 2 years.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with DIA and service intelligence architectures.
