This role requires a strong understanding of AECA (Arms Export Control Act) and ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) regulations. The analyst works under general supervision, receiving assignments with clear instructions and guidelines. They use their initiative to carry out recurring tasks and ensure technical accuracy and compliance with established procedures. The Defense Trade Analyst II performs all the duties of a Level I analyst and additional responsibilities with limited supervision.
