About The Position

The position involves implementing, sustaining, and supporting the Defense Travel System (DTS) for the Army. Responsibilities include researching and resolving issues related to the DTS system, monitoring user information to protect privacy, assisting with the maintenance of traveler's profiles and organizational data, and coordinating training programs for DTA personnel. The role requires a strong understanding of travel document procedures and budgetary reporting.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Favorable suitability review and security clearance required.
• Must complete all mandatory Civilian Education System (CES) courses.
• Obtain and maintain Financial Management Certification.
• For GS-09 level, must have served 52 weeks as a GS-07 or higher in Federal Service.
• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-07 level in Federal service.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Defense Travel Systems (DTS).
• Knowledge of financial management systems.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement, sustain, and support the DTS system for the Army.
• Research and resolve issues related to the DTS system installation and connectivity.
• Monitor Army Command user information to ensure protection of Privacy Act information and travel documents.
• Assist the organizational DTA with maintenance of traveler's profiles and organizational data.
• Coordinate the Army training program for DTA personnel and assist with training for various officials and users.
