City of Hope is seeking a dedicated Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program Manager (DEIPM) to support and advance our DEI strategy. This role will assist the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Programs System Director in implementing Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), mentoring initiatives, employee engagement programs, and grassroots efforts, while embedding diversity metrics and evaluation practices in all programs. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders and community leaders, you will drive impactful initiatives that promote a culture of inclusion and diversity across our organization. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for executing DEI initiatives to achieve organizational goals on time and within budget. You will project manage and develop practices and policies to support ERG formation, active engagement, and expansion nationally. Additionally, you will partner with the DEI Programs System Director to enhance ERG governance, leadership development, coaching, mentoring, and event planning. Utilizing robust evaluation methods, you will assess program effectiveness and business impact, preparing executive-level reports and presentations on program outcomes. Supporting ERGs in planning events, including budgeting, vendor sourcing, and communication strategies, will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will assist in planning internal, external, and community-facing DEI events and initiatives, while maintaining a volunteerism database to ensure accessibility and accuracy of engagement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Execute DEI initiatives to achieve organizational goals on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in organizational development, behavioral sciences, human resources, business management, or related field.
  • Five years or more in program/project management, preferably in healthcare or research environments, with experience in DEI initiatives such as ERGs or inclusive community programs.
  • Project Management and Change Management certifications preferred.
