About the position

As a Deli/Bakery Associate at Walmart Supercenter, your primary responsibility will be to prepare high-quality food products for our customers. This role involves engaging with customers at the service counter, ensuring they receive excellent service and quality products. You will also be responsible for moving incoming merchandise to the sales floor, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards. In addition to food preparation, you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed. Responsibilities

  • Prepare quality food products for customers in the deli and bakery sections.
  • Engage with customers at the service counter to provide excellent service.
  • Move incoming merchandise to the sales floor in a timely manner.
  • Clean and maintain proper food safety standards in the work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work full-time hours, including mid-shift and closing shifts.
  • Ability to engage with customers and provide excellent service.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
