The Deli Support position at Buehler's Fresh Foods is a part-time role within the Deli Department, crucial for enhancing customer experience and contributing to the department's profitability. Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service including greeting customers and answering questions
• Maintains Buehler's high standards for freshness and sanitation
• Sells products by providing information needed for product-related decisions and offering samples
• Fills, maintains, and rotates products and displays
• Supports Restaurant, Catering, and Specialty areas with special orders and party trays
• Operates the deli slicer and other commercial food service equipment
• Supports all functions of the Deli including prep, production, and sales support of the Deli Counter, Food Service Prep, Deli Sandwich, and Soup and Salad Bar

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs and occasionally 80 lbs
• Manual dexterity and auditory and visual skills
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
• Basic math skills

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with deli operations is a plus, but not required
