Responsibilities

• Contact delinquent members to address and cure delinquency using available payment options and loss mitigation tools.
• Obtain and analyze detailed financial information from delinquent members.
• Document arrangements, reasons for delinquency, and charge-off alternatives in collection systems.
• Offer short and long-term solutions such as repayment plans, promises-to-pay, loan modifications, refinances, and deferral programs.
• Explain relinquishing options like settlements to members.
• Maintain knowledge of federal and state consumer protection laws.

Requirements

• Customer service background.
• Experience handling high inbound and/or outbound calls.
• Ability to manage multi-database software and systems.

• Experience in Collections, Sales, Insurance, and/or Banking.
