About the position
JCW Services LLC is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Delivery Associates to join our team as part of our Amazon Delivery Service Partner program. This role is crucial in ensuring that packages are delivered safely and efficiently to our customers. As a Delivery Associate, you will be responsible for loading vans and delivering packages, which involves driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle multiple times a day, and navigating through various weather conditions. We offer both full-time and part-time positions with flexible schedules, allowing you to choose a work-life balance that suits you best. Our shifts typically range from 8 to 10 hours, starting at 10:30 AM and concluding around 9 PM. No commercial driver's license (CDL) is required, and we provide comprehensive paid training to ensure you are well-prepared for the job. Safety is our top priority, and we take it very seriously. As part of our commitment to safety, you can earn up to $400 a month in bonuses based on your performance and adherence to safety protocols. We provide all necessary equipment, including the delivery van, uniform, fuel, and even shoes. Our team-oriented environment promotes both teamwork and independence, making it a fun and fast-paced workplace. To qualify for this position, you must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to read and speak English for safety purposes. Responsibilities
- Load vans and deliver packages by driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle up to 200 times per day, and walking upstairs and through driveways in all weather conditions.
- Perform route rescues to assist other team members when required for business needs.
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that they are complete and the customer is 100% satisfied.
- Provide unmatched customer service consistent with the core values of JCW Services and Amazon.
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Solve problems independently using critical thinking skills.
- Follow strict safety standards on and off the road.
- Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records.
- Complete your route on your own in its entirety.
Requirements
- No experience needed; entry-level position.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Valid driver's license within the state of employment (CDL not required).
- Ability to operate and navigate a delivery van weighing 10,000 lbs. or less.
- Ability to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Clean driving record.
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.
Nice-to-haves
