About the position

The Driver position involves collecting cash/credit card payments and coupons for delivered items, checking all products for accuracy against quality standards for delivery, and carrying out customers in a safe and timely manner. The driver must ensure that the vehicle used for delivery passes inspection, both mechanically and visually, and uphold Dominos standards of grooming, uniform, and appearance. Additionally, the driver will promote pizza products, specials, and promotions, and receive cross-training for preparing products and ingredients, closing and opening procedures, operating the pizza oven, and properly boxing products for delivery or carryout. A sense of urgency is required when answering store phone lines or helping carryout customers, and quality customer service must be provided to both internal and external customers over the phone and in person.

Responsibilities

• Collect cash/credit card payments and coupons for delivered items
• Check all products for accuracy against quality standards for delivery
• Carry out customers in a safe and timely manner
• Ensure vehicle used for delivery passes inspection, both mechanically and visually
• Uphold Dominos standards of grooming, uniform, and appearance
• Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions
• Receive cross-training for preparing products and ingredients, closing and opening procedures, operate pizza oven, and properly box products for delivery or carryout
• Exhibit a sense of urgency when answering store phone lines or helping carryout customers
• Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers both over the phone and in person
• Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within designated delivery areas
• Navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
• Operate all equipment and stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in-cooler
• Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders
• Take inventory and complete associate paperwork
• Clean equipment and facility daily

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
• Listed as an insured driver on the vehicle
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly
• Ability to make correct monetary change
• Ability to operate all equipment
