About the position

The Domino's Delivery Driver is responsible for providing excellent customer service while safely transporting customers' orders. This part-time role involves assembling, loading, and delivering items while adhering to assigned routes and road safety protocols. The driver must ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and maintain a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Arrive to work on time, in complete uniform with a clean vehicle and a full tank of gas.
  • Assemble all items in order, ensuring all extras such as dipping cups and sodas are included in the order.
  • Route orders using the Pulse routing program within 1 minute of leaving the store.
  • Transport all hot items in proper heat bags and cold items in plastic T bags.
  • Drive safely to and from all assigned deliveries, obeying all traffic laws.
  • Collect money from customers and provide correct change.
  • Collect signatures for credit card and debit card transactions.
  • Keep track of cash and receipts, ensuring it balances at the end of the shift.
  • Listen to and resolve customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries.
  • Keep the driver area stocked, organized, neat, and clean.
  • Assist in keeping box hutch and all other box stocking areas clean and stocked.
  • Ensure that heat bags are clean and free of rips and tears.
  • Sweep the floor regularly and mop when needed, with mopping required every night.
  • Wash dishes when no dishwasher is on shift.
  • Help cook food and work in the kitchen when necessary as backup.
  • Assist with taking phone, counter, or window orders when needed.
  • Perform general store cleaning.

Requirements

  • Own reliable transportation that is clean and free of debris.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow a map.
  • Pass a Criminal Background check and a Motor Vehicle Record check.
  • Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate required.
  • Ability to understand and work with numbers.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow a schedule, be on time, wear proper uniform, and work swiftly.
  • Effective communication skills with a variety of clientele.
  • 2 years driving experience for anyone age 18, 1 year for age 19+.
  • Customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Nice-to-haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree is a plus but not required.
  • Prior customer service experience.
