About the position
AIMS Logistics LLC, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP), is actively seeking both full-time and part-time delivery drivers to join our team in Holyoke, MA. As a Delivery Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Amazon packages are delivered to customers in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, punctuality, and reliability. You will be responsible for operating a company-provided cargo van, navigating to various delivery locations, and adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This is a performance-based job, meaning your pay and opportunities for advancement will be directly linked to your ability to meet or exceed our performance standards. We operate 7 days a week, 360 days a year, so flexibility in your schedule is essential, including the ability to work weekends and holidays. The delivery driver role involves working approximately 8-10 hours a day, with a typical shift starting at 11:00 AM. You will be expected to safely and efficiently deliver packages while managing the physical demands of the job, which includes moving and lifting packages of up to 50 pounds. Additionally, you will utilize GPS and smartphone applications to assist with navigation and delivery tracking. Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a cargo van to deliver packages to customers.
- Work in all weather conditions while delivering packages.
- Move and lift packages of up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Operate GPS and smartphone applications for navigation and delivery tracking.
- Comply with all traffic laws and regulations during deliveries.
- Meet or exceed performance standards set by the company.
- Assist other delivery drivers as directed.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years old.
- At least 1 year of licensed driving experience.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Punctuality and reliability are critical for this role.
- Flexible schedule including availability on weekends and holidays.
- Valid driver's license with no major at-fault collisions within the previous 7 years.
- Ability to move and lift packages of up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable driving a cargo van.
