About the position

The Delivery Driver position at Queens Pharmacy involves delivering prescriptions and front store items to patients' homes or workplaces. The role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and work independently while adhering to safety and confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide fantastic customer service to patients and support the pharmacy team.
• Verify all prescriptions are properly processed, bagged, and neatly stapled for delivery.
• Understand delivery manifests/tickets and obtain proof of delivery signatures from patients.
• Work with pharmacy staff to ensure timely deliveries.
• Transport and deliver medication and front store items safely to prevent damage or loss.
• Inform customers about new products and services.
• Keep supervisors informed of daily activities and any delivery issues.
• Maintain the company car by cleaning, fueling, and reporting mechanical issues.
• Observe all state driving laws and ensure safety during deliveries.
• Collect payments from patients and reconcile to register at the end of the delivery route.
• Complete daily signature logs and file all reports prior to the end of the shift.
• Maintain effective relationships with co-workers and management.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Valid California Driver's License is required.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
