About the position
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting food to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, operating a vehicle, navigating routes efficiently, and maintaining a professional demeanor while representing our company.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a car to deliver products to designated locations.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Provide exceptional customer service during each delivery interaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is a plus.
- Experience in heavy lifting and loading/unloading goods is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) may be required depending on the vehicle used.
