About the position

The Delivery Driver position at MSI Health Solutions involves transporting home medical equipment to patients' homes in the Boston area. This role requires a dependable and professional independent contractor who can handle routed deliveries, on-demand pickups, and backup services as needed. The contractor will be responsible for their vehicle, fuel, and insurance, and must maintain a clean driving record while adhering to customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Transport home medical equipment to patient homes.
• Complete routed deliveries with a set schedule, adapting to changes as needed.
• Handle STAT/on-demand pickups and orders dispatched by a route manager or customer.
• Fill in for route voids as a backup driver.
• Enter daily miles and hours into the 3rd Party App - Bamboo.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Physically able to consistently lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must live within 25 miles of Boston, MA.
• Must own a reliable and registered vehicle for use in this contract.
• Maintain $300,000 for bodily injury & property damage as primary commercial auto insurance.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Complete E-learning modules as required.
• Maintain a clean driving record with no more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past three years.
