About the position
The Delivery Driver position at NAPA is a part-time role focused on delivering auto parts to customers while serving as a brand ambassador. This position allows individuals to work independently on the open road, fostering relationships with customers and ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities
- Delivering parts to customers and developing relationships with them.
- Picking up parts from vendors and maintaining accurate stock in the inventory.
- Focusing on safety while driving and delivering parts.
- Serving as a NAPA Brand Ambassador during customer interactions.
- Building long-term relationships with customers during deliveries.
- Maintaining the delivery truck according to safety checklists and ensuring cleanliness and basic maintenance.
Requirements
- Ability to bend to floor-level shelves and reach upper shelves (up to eight feet) using a stool or ladder when necessary.
- Stamina to stand and walk for the entire work shift and lift up to 60 lbs of merchandise.
- Ability to handle cash and charge transactions accurately.
- Experience in maintaining a distribution log or tracking system for deliveries and pickups.
- Skills in inspecting and maintaining company assets, merchandise, vehicles, and facilities.
- Clear speaking and attentive listening skills.
- Ability to navigate throughout the metropolitan area using maps and directions.
- Flexibility with schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid Driver's License.
